Digital Marketing & Brand Manager

Job Summary

The Digital Marketing and Brand Manager is responsible for brand development as well as the planning and execution of full-cycle marketing campaigns – including social media and email marketing – that enable the Company to meet its sales goals. The incumbent will partner with the management team to develop strategies and with internal departments to ensure linkage, consistency and ROI. This role is both strategic and hands on with a project management component. Must have strong technical skills and previous experience with email marketing and CRM integration as well as a foundation in graphic design and Photoshop.

The successful candidate will be a polished Marketing Professional who has a solid digital marketing background, excellent communication skills, project management experience, and a knack for building and sustaining positive, inclusive cross-functional work relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the management team to define core corporate brand messaging, including strategic positioning and brand differentiation
  • Establish 2 – 3 year strategic plan for marketing and advertising including architecture, identity and positioning
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Generate content for brand social media and oversee paid advertising
  • Develop multi-channel tactical plans to support strategic initiatives
    • Conceptualize and develop marketing assets that can be used across all channels and marketing opportunities
      • Draft and optimize ad copy
      • Partner with graphic design to develop images and layouts
    • Manage and maintain social media channels: YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, company website and online blogs
    • Expand social networking and online paid advertising initiatives into marketing schemes
    • Oversee tradeshow vendor & coordination; attend 3-5 tradeshows annually
    • Media relations with professional associations, publications, etc.
  • Partner with internal departments
    • IT to link campaigns to Salesforce
    • SEO for Company website analytics support
    • Website team to ensure brand and content quality and consistency
  • Develop communication guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all internal and external channels, including social media and our website.
  • Assist in development of pricing strategies of products and services
  • Establish metrics to evaluate marketing results
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Knowledge, & Skills

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related discipline or equivalent; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum five years’ experience in developing and executing full-cycle B2B marketing strategies and campaigns in a comparable environment
  • Strong current social media skills and experience
  • Strong experience in brand development
  • Experience in new product launches
  • Healthcare, dental, national, digital product experience strongly preferred
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Tradeshow experience required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of established marketing strategy principles including internal/external analysis, market/audience research, budget, strategy, tactics and evaluation
  • Strong knowledge of established brand and B2B marketing principles
  • Strong creative concept skills/aesthetic
  • Strong computer skills required, including proficiency with MS Office, publishing, graphics and imaging applications
  • Excellent technical aptitude and hands-on experience with email marketing engines and CRM integration
  • E-mail marketing platforms – MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.
  • Professional social media experience – managing Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter for other brand(s)
  • Excellent professional writing and editing skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
