
Why am I getting email with **SPAM** in the subject line?
If an email message passes our spam filtering tests but looks like it could be spam, **SPAM** is placed in the subject line.

I am not getting some of my email, what is happening?
The most likely answer is the message is getting flagged as spam. Legitimate email messages are sometimes constructed in a way that will cause them to fail the spam filtering tests. Contact PBHS at 800-840-5383 or submit a trouble ticket to the email support group at our

Why did you have to switch to IMail 2006? Can I switch back?
Our previous email server contained a security flaw that required an upgrade to correct. Because of security concerns we cannot switch back to the previous email server version.

Will there be any more changes?
Short answer, no. Technically, yes we will be splitting off our mail server to make it more redundant but this should not change your service at all.

What if I lost some information (my contacts, my email, my sent mail)?

The webmail interface doesn’t work for me?
The interface works only on Firefox for Mac and IE and Firefox for Windows.

I can’t find the Calendar/Contacts.
They are in tabs at the bottom of your screen labled ‘Calendar’ and ‘Contacts’ respectively.

How do I access my web mail?
The web mail can be accessed at mail.yourdomain.com. For example, web mail for PBHS would be accessed at http://mail.pbhs.com. Note that you no longer add :8383 after your domain to access web mail.
Enter your username and password at the login screen. The username is your email address.

How do I read a message in web mail?
Click on the message to view in the preview pane. If the preview pane is not visible, double click on the message to view in a new window.

How do I create and send a new message in web mail?
Click the "New" button just above the list of messages. Complete the form in the "New Message" screen and click the "Send" button.

How do I reply to a message in web mail?
Click the "Reply" or "Reply All" button just above the list of messages. Complete the form in the "New Message" screen and click the "Send" button.

How do I forward a message in web mail?
Click the "Forward" button just above the list of messages. Complete the form in the "New Message" screen and click the "Send" button.

How do I select all of the messages?
Click on the top message then scroll down and hold the shift key while clicking on the last message. You can also select just a portion of the messages by not starting at the top or going all the way to the bottom. Ctrl-click allows you to select particular groups of messages

How do I log out of web mail?
Click the "Log Out" link in the top right hand corner of the web mail screen.

I want to see the whole message in a bigger screen.
Double click on the message to open it in it’s own window.

How do I hide the preview pane?
Click the "Preferences" tab in the lower left section of the web mail screen. Clear the "Show Message Preview Pane" checkbox in the "General User Settings" section. Click the "Save" button just below the "User Preferences" headline.

How do I change how many messages are displayed?
Click the "Preferences" tab in the lower left section of the web mail screen. Select a new value in the "Messages Per Page" dropdown box in the "General User Settings" section. Click the "Save" button just below the "User Preferences" headline.

How do I enable a vacation message in web mail?
Click the "Preferences" tab in the lower left section of the web mail screen. Scroll down to the "Vacation Message" section and check the "Enable" checkbox. Enter your vaction message in the text area. Click the "Save" button just below the "User Preferences" headline.
To disable the vacation message, clear the "Enable" checkbox and the text area. Click the "Save" button just below the "User Preferences" headline.

What are Rules? Do I need to do something with them?
Short answer, no you don’t need to do anything with them. Long answer, rules are ways to direct the mail that goes into your mail box, for instance if you get emails from a certain newsletter you can make a rule to always put it in a specific folder when it comes in. Also if you keep receiving spam from a certain address you can add a rule to bounce that email before it gets to your box.

Does this affect my Outlook/Outlook Express?
PBHS email servers require authentication for sending mail. The following instructions are for Outlook 2003.
- In the Tools menu, select E-Mail Accounts.
- In the Email Accounts window, select View or change existing e-mail accounts to edit an existing account and click Next. This will allow you to change settings in Outlook. Settings on the server will not be affected.
- In the next window, select the account you would like to edit from the list of email accounts. Click the Change button.
- In the next window, make sure the settings are correct. The incoming and outgoing mail server boxes should both have mail.yourdomain.com. As an example, if your domain is www.thebestdentist.com then these boxes should have mail.thebestdentist.com. If your domain is www.theverybestdentist.net then both boxes should have mail.theverybestdentist.net.
- Click the More Settings button.
- Click the Outgoing Server tab.
- Check the My outgoing server requires authentication checkbox. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server. Click the OK button.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
You must enter your complete email address for the username.

How do I forward all my email to another address?
Click the "Preferences" tab in the lower left section of the web mail screen. Enter the forwarding email address in the "Forward To" box in the "General User Settings" section. Click the "Save" button just below the "User Preferences" headline.
