Adding Images With Advanced Hosting

First, you must login to Advanced Hosting. Choose a page to add the image to, and follow the directions below.

Adding an Image

1. When in Advanced Hosting editor for a web page, place the cursor where you want to insert the image. Click on the toolbar icon that looks like a picture of a mountain:
   
2. A pop-up window will appear. You have two options at this point. You may: upload files from your computer, or choose an image from our image library.
   • Upload Files From Your Computer
     
     You can click on the “Browse…” button and navigate to the image file on your computer that you would like to place on the web page. Select the filename by clicking on it. Then click on the “Upload” button. Finally, click on the “Insert” button at the bottom of the pop-up window. The pop-up window will close and the image should now be visible on the web page.
     
     Note: The recommended file size for web images is less than 50 kb. If you have problems uploading an image, check the file size. If it is too large, resize it in a graphic editing program like PhotoShop using the “Save for Web” feature.
   • Choose an Image From the Image Library
     
     You can open the “Select Folder” box by clicking on the triangular arrow on the right side and choose a category. A list of image filenames will appear. (Use the scrollbar at the side to view more files.) Click any of the blue “select” links to view a thumbnail of the image. (Notice the “Image Source” line now has a file path in it.) When the image you wish to insert into the web page is showing in the white box, click on the “Insert” button near the bottom of the page. The pop-up window will close and the image should now be visible on the web page.

Deleting an Image

If you need to delete an image:

1. click on the image
2. dots will appear around the outside edge of it
3. press the delete key on your keyboard.
