Santa Rosa, CA, September 3, 2004 - PBHS Inc. has allied with GAC Orthoplex. The focus of this alliance is the integration of PBHS web based technologies with the imaging and educational products developed by GAC.
As part of this relationship, PBHS Inc. has integrated Collaborator™, an online system designed to facilitate referral communications between dental specialists and general practitioners, with GAC’s VistaDent, a leading cephalometric and imaging application. “PBHS has filled the missing link in referral communications,” says Charlie Dunham, Division Manager of the GAC Technocenter. “By directly integrating Collaborator™ with Vistadent™, we are automating a part of the referral process that is very time consuming. Our VistaDent™ clients can now securely transmit data and digital imagery between their practice and the referring doctor immediately, savings hours of time and enhancing productivity.”
In addition, PBHS and GAC have Internet enabled OrthoMation™, a leading orthodontic patient education system. “PBHS has made it possible for patients to view a multimedia based treatment plan from home,” says Jay Levine, Vice President of Marketing for PBHS Inc. “We have integrated OrthoMation Online directly into the doctor’s website, bringing additional functionality and educational value to any OrthoMation™ client.”
As part of the arrangement, GAC and PBHS will jointly market and distribute these Internet enabled products.
