Human Touch™ utilizes technology that delivers video and audio presentations with minimal bandwidth requirements. In addition, Human Touch™ helps practices effectively manage risk through an optional informed consent process. All interactions and exchange of information between the program and the patient are permanently documented.
PBHS has developed the oral surgery version of Human Touch™ as a compatible product with the OMS Informed Consent DVD. “Patients feel comfortable when they are educated by the same actors from our Informed Consent DVD,” says Jay Levine, “Comprehension is also improved when patients are shown similar information utilizing various media.”
